Social & Community Moderator Associate - (remote)

Role overview Help grow and engage a sports-focused digital community as a Social & Community Moderator Associate on an Organic Social team. You will support day-to-day management, programming, moderation, and authentic participation across Discord, Reddit, X, Facebook Groups, and emerging community platforms, helping turn audiences into active communities around a combined sportsbook, prediction markets, and casino product.

Responsibilities - Support daily management and programming of brand-owned communities across Discord, Reddit, X, Facebook Groups, and other relevant platforms - Maintain an always-on community calendar covering conversations, recurring programs, activations, AMAs, giveaways, cultural moments, and sports tentpoles - Participate authentically in online sports communities, joining conversations rather than just broadcasting - Moderate brand-owned spaces and maintain a welcoming, consistent voice - Monitor emerging conversations, memes, fan behaviors, and community moments to flag timely engagement opportunities - Help develop and execute community tactics around major sports moments, campaigns, product launches, and tentpole events - Surface fan sentiment, trends, and notable conversations to the broader social team and internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product, CRM, VIP, and Responsible Gaming - Track engagement, growth, and participation and recommend programming improvements

Requirements - 1–3 years of experience in social media, community management, social programming, or related content work; experience in sports, betting, gaming, entertainment, or media is a plus - Hands-on experience with Discord, Reddit, X, Facebook Groups, or similar online communities - Strong grasp of sports culture, internet culture, and how fans interact online; familiarity with sports betting or gaming is a plus - Natural instinct for what drives conversation, sharing, and participation - Some experience with moderation, community guidelines, or managing fast-moving conversations - Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms - Highly organized, able to juggle multiple conversations and programs at once - Proactive, collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for sports and a 24/7 curiosity about what fans are talking about online

Nice to have - Willingness to travel occasionally for events, activations, and team offsites - Comfort working nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours around major sporting events and tentpoles
