Data Analyst III

Role overview A senior analyst role embedded in a sportsbook product analytics team, partnering closely with senior product stakeholders to shape testing, performance tracking, and reporting that influence product decisions. The position combines regular and ad hoc analysis with stakeholder advisory work, collaborating with other analysts and data scientists to solve business problems in a fast-moving sports betting environment.

Responsibilities - Develop a deep working understanding of the sportsbook product, its users, and the broader betting and gaming business. - Build trusted relationships with product stakeholders and become a go-to contributor for data-driven decision support. - Support product testing, experimentation analysis, and reporting that informs roadmap and optimization choices. - Produce both recurring and ad hoc insights, presenting metrics and recommendations to senior stakeholders. - Collaborate with fellow analysts and data scientists to develop solutions to open business problems. - Stay current on analytics tooling, methods, and trends in the sports betting and gaming industry.

Requirements - 5+ years of experience in an analytics role. - Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science. - Strong SQL proficiency and working skill in a statistical programming language such as R or Python. - Proficiency with a data visualization and reporting tool, ideally Tableau or Power BI. - Solid grounding in statistical analysis and multivariate testing concepts. - Experience using code repositories such as GitHub. - Demonstrated stakeholder partnership skills, with a customer-focused, outcome-oriented mindset suited to high-growth environments. - Logical, analytical problem-solving paired with strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice to have - Prior experience in the betting and gaming industry. - Hands-on experience with Amplitude or comparable product analytics platforms.
