Senior Solutions Engineer - USA

Role overview

This remote role in the USA serves as the chief technologist and trusted advisor for an embedded security software company serving connected device, industrial, and critical infrastructure markets. The position leads technical engagement across the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery through demos, deployment, and post-deployment support, while partnering closely with sales and R&D.

Responsibilities

- Act as the chief technologist and trusted advisor for customer accounts, guiding technical teams through solution design and integration. - Lead technical discussions and demonstrations, explaining how the security portfolio and architected solutions map to customer requirements. - Engage new and existing customers to understand their requirements, deployment environments, and integration constraints. - Deliver software products against customer specifications and provide post-deployment troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Collaborate closely with the sales account manager and R&D team to ensure smooth communication, integration, and feature planning. - Identify and mitigate technical sales risks while documenting new feature needs based on customer feedback.

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Yocto, ESP32, Zephyr, and other embedded build systems. - Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical account management. - Ability to read customer requirements, understand device deployment environments, and design appropriate integrations. - Fluent English with strong communication skills for acting as a liaison between customers and engineering teams. - Experience developing custom integration software for embedded systems. - Familiarity with the full embedded product lifecycle, from early-stage discussions through long-term post-deployment support.

Nice to have

- Experience working at a cybersecurity company. - Low-level programming experience and prior integration of security technologies. - Knowledge of additional embedded systems and build environments.

Benefits and work setup
