Robotics Engineering Intern

Role overview Research, develop, and test robotics components, integrated systems, and simulations as part of an engineering internship. The work may involve areas such as robot navigation, control, and simulation, with the potential to continue into a full-time position.

Responsibilities - Investigate and develop robotics software and system components. - Test robotic systems and simulation work. - Work with tools and methods including ROS or ROS 2, SLAM, controls, and simulation software. - Collaborate with engineers while completing tasks independently and on schedule.

Requirements - Experience with robotics software and hardware, including sensors, controllers, actuators, or communication devices. - Programming experience in C++ or Python. - Proficiency with ROS or ROS 2. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Availability for at least six months, full-time or part-time.

Nice to have - Experience with Gazebo or Unity simulation tools. - Research-focused postgraduate study; master’s and doctoral candidates are encouraged.
