Entry-level internship embedded within a cloud computing and networking advisory practice that helps organizations modernize through technology. Interns rotate across diverse client engagements, contributing to research, analysis, and software development while learning how technology services are delivered at scale.
Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and help solve business and technology problems using a variety of tools and techniques - Support the design, development, and testing of software applications and cloud-enabled services - Collaborate with architects and product owners to break down work into smaller, manageable software components - Help with estimation and planning of software delivery milestones - Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting across the application development lifecycle - Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree, typically in the third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program - Preferred cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher - Preferred fields of study include computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, data processing or analytics, systems engineering, and related disciplines - Familiarity with scripting and web-based development such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React, or Angular - Exposure to object-oriented programming in Java or C#, relational databases, and basic architectural patterns - Understanding of agile methodology and the software development lifecycle
Nice to have
- Cloud or service management certification from AWS, Azure, or GCP - Exposure to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and microservice design patterns - Familiarity with cloud-native tooling, mapreduce concepts, or related data processing frameworks
