A healthcare-focused software company is hiring a remote Technical Support Specialist to serve customers using its suite of clinical and practice management applications. The role centers on delivering responsive, empathetic support to medical practices and helping them get the most out of the platform across phone, chat, email, and a customer portal.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve application, workflow, and configuration issues for end users in medical practices. - Provide guidance on best practices, helping customers maximize platform functionality. - Escalate complex issues to internal teams (Product, Engineering, Billing, etc.) with thorough documentation. - Log customer interactions and troubleshooting steps accurately in support tools and the knowledge base. - Share customer feedback that informs product improvements and contribute to internal knowledge articles. - Meet targets for customer satisfaction, quality, productivity, and service-level agreements.
Requirements
- At least one year in a customer-facing support or technical support role. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting. - Clear verbal and written communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. - Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a global, distributed team. - Quick learner who can absorb new technologies and stay current on product updates.
Nice to have
- Prior technical support experience, ideally supporting SaaS applications. - Familiarity with healthcare environments such as EHR, practice management, billing, or revenue cycle management. - Understanding of clinical workflows including scheduling, eligibility, claims, payments, and patient records.
