Role overview An entry-level clinical applications analyst position supporting a major electronic health record platform, with a primary focus on the Beaker laboratory application. The role combines technical implementation, day-to-day user support, training, and change management within a hospital IT environment.
Responsibilities - Serve as the IT contact and resource for assigned clinical departments, building understanding of their workflows and information needs - Implement low-complexity system changes following change management policies and procedures - Diagnose and resolve break/fix issues, escalating or coordinating with other IT teams and vendors as needed - Test changes thoroughly before production deployment and monitor results after release - Develop training materials and conduct group or one-on-one sessions for end users - Maintain system security, process access and termination requests, and conduct periodic access audits
Requirements - High school diploma required, with three years of experience in information technology, clinical operations, or a related field; a degree may substitute for work experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented mindset - Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems proactively - Strong organisational, time management, and customer service skills - Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
