Frontend Engineer

Role overview

This position focuses on building and maintaining the user interface for an AI-native compliance and cybersecurity platform used by businesses across regulated industries. The work centers on translating complex security, compliance, and IT management workflows into polished, intuitive web experiences. The product is described as security-critical and production-grade rather than experimental.

Responsibilities

- Develop user interfaces for compliance, security, and IT management features used by real business customers - Build reusable components and contribute to shared design system work - Participate in collaborative development workflows including code reviews and version control - Partner with designers and backend engineers to ship product improvements iteratively - Help shape frontend architecture as the platform scales

Requirements

- Hands-on experience as a frontend engineer building production web applications - Proficiency with modern JavaScript-based frontend frameworks and tooling - Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and responsive interface design - Ability to work within established collaborative development workflows

Nice to have

- Familiarity with UI/UX tools and design systems such as Figma or Sketch - Experience with data visualization libraries including D3.js or Chart.js - Exposure to AI-driven features or integrating AI services on the frontend - Understanding of security concepts, browser security models, or SaaS security products - Open-source contributions or personal projects that demonstrate frontend craftsmanship
