Arista Network Engineer

Role overview Join a global network team as an Arista-focused engineer, driving enterprise connectivity initiatives across an international footprint. The initial priority is executing software upgrades across the Arista estate to close security gaps, with broader scope covering refresh programs, new technology rollouts, and wireless design. This is a hands-on engineering position that blends independent initiative with team collaboration in a fast-evolving environment.

Responsibilities - Lead initial Arista estate software upgrades to mitigate security vulnerabilities across the global network - Support network refresh projects and new technology deployments spanning switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure - Design and troubleshoot Wi-Fi solutions across enterprise environments - Contribute to SD-WAN rollouts and Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) deployments - Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, standards, and implementation records - Mentor junior engineers and assist with bill of materials generation, turning designs into executable implementation plans - Work standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend support as project needs dictate

Requirements - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Layer 2 switching protocols and Layer 3 routing protocols in enterprise settings - Deep knowledge of Arista technologies, including Spine and Leaf architecture and CloudVision - Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and VRRP at enterprise scale - Strong Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting experience - Multi-vendor exposure across Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, and Arista platforms - Familiarity with SDN and SD-WAN deployment patterns - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice to have - Active Arista certifications - CCNP or comparable networking credentials - Experience operating networks at global enterprise scale - Strong organizational habits and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously - Fluency in spoken and written English
