Senior Design Systems Engineer

Role overview A permanent, full-time remote role based in North America for a Senior Design Systems Engineer to shape the design infrastructure of a logistics and supply chain product suite. The position is central to ensuring a seamless, scalable, and cohesive design experience across multiple products.

Responsibilities - Lead the creation and evolution of the design system, including component libraries, design tokens, and documentation, to ensure consistency across platforms. - Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and product teams to integrate components and ensure smooth implementation. - Establish and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices that streamline processes and enhance product quality. - Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and evolve the design system. - Provide training and support to ensure proper usage and foster a culture of design excellence.

Requirements - 5+ years of experience in design systems engineering or a closely related field, with a track record of building and scaling systems. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with tools such as Figma and Adobe. - Deep understanding of design principles, UI/UX best practices, and accessibility standards. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge design and engineering teams. - Analytical, pragmatic problem-solving style focused on user-friendly and technically sound solutions.
