Senior Data Architect (Pre-sales & Solutions)

Role overview A senior architect role focused on the data and AI domain, supporting pre-sales and solution shaping for client delivery engagements. The position is fully remote within the United States and works at the intersection of solution design, client advisory, and technical leadership. It is an exempt, full-time role within a client delivery organization.

Responsibilities - Shape data and AI solution approaches during pre-sales cycles, translating client needs into credible architectures and estimates - Partner with sales, delivery, and engineering stakeholders to design proposals that are technically sound and commercially viable - Provide architectural guidance across cloud, data platform, and AI/ML workloads for prospective and active engagements - Contribute to proof-of-concept designs and demonstrations that showcase technical capability to client audiences - Advise on data strategy topics such as platform selection, integration patterns, governance, and AI/ML adoption paths - Support handover from pre-sales into delivery, helping set expectations on scope, risks, and architectural decisions

Requirements - Senior-level experience architecting modern data platforms and AI/ML solutions in client-facing contexts - Comfortable operating in a pre-sales capacity, including client workshops, discovery, and proposal development - Working knowledge of cloud data services, integration patterns, and AI/ML lifecycle tooling - Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives for both business and technical audiences - Background in client delivery or consulting environments with billable, project-based engagement models
