Senior Network Automation & AI Engineer

Role overview

Senior engineer driving automation, AI adoption, and operational efficiency across a global infrastructure environment. The position focuses on building scalable automation solutions and AI-driven workflows that span network, cloud, and security domains while partnering with infrastructure teams to remove manual work.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions using Python, REST APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and modern automation frameworks - Build and implement AI-powered workflows leveraging GenAI, agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI platforms - Automate provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, compliance validation, and remediation across network, cloud, and security environments - Partner with Network, Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure teams to identify and deliver automation opportunities - Develop integrations across enterprise platforms and operational tools - Build automation solutions from concept through production deployment - Drive automation initiatives across multiple technology domains to improve reliability, speed, and operational efficiency

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation - Strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines - Proven experience building and deploying automation solutions into production environments - Familiarity with GenAI technologies, agentic AI frameworks, LLMs, MCP, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar platforms - Strong automation-first mindset with a passion for eliminating manual work - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving ability with minimal supervision

Nice to have

- Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies - Experience with SD-WAN, particularly VeloCloud - Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers - Experience with Aruba or Cisco switching and routing - Experience with multi-cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, and OCI - Experience supporting large-scale retail or distributed enterprise environments - Strong networking knowledge
