Senior AI Integration Engineer

Role overview Design the integration layer that lets AI agents interact securely and reliably with enterprise systems. The role combines API and connector development with workflow orchestration, access controls, and operational safeguards for production integrations. It is a remote position based in Brazil.

Responsibilities - Build reusable APIs, connectors, MCP tools, and service contracts for agent access to business systems. - Connect agents with enterprise platforms, databases, and other internal services. - Implement workflow orchestration, state handling, retries, and exception paths to support reliable automation. - Apply authentication, authorization, role based access, least privilege, source restrictions, and API governance. - Support production quality operations and scalable cloud native integrations.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related discipline. - At least 5 years in enterprise integration, backend, API, or platform engineering. - Strong programming experience with Python or .NET and hands on experience with REST APIs and microservices. - Practical knowledge of Azure Functions and Azure API Management, along with cloud services and DevOps practices. - Experience with MCP, workflow orchestration, OAuth, role based access control, and API security. - Understanding of secure API design and production controls for enterprise integrations.

Nice to have - Experience connecting systems such as SharePoint, SAP, Databricks, or Azure SQL. - Background building MCP servers or agent tool interfaces, or designing event driven and long running workflows. - Azure Developer or Integration Services certification.
