Software Engineer – AI Product Development

Role overview Design and deliver AI-powered products for business users, working across backend services and user-facing features. The role combines hands-on product engineering with rapid experimentation and collaboration with clients and product teams.

Responsibilities - Build product features end to end, from backend components to user experiences. - Develop production pipelines using language models, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation tools. - Work with product managers and clients to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions. - Prototype, evaluate, and refine ideas to validate them quickly. - Operate production services and improve their reliability, scalability, and observability.

Requirements - A degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. - Strong backend or full-stack development skills, with experience in TypeScript, Next.js, Python, or Java. - Experience deploying cloud systems on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. - Practical experience with large language model technologies and prompting. - Understanding of relational databases and experience working with varied data sources. - Effective communication in both English and Japanese.
