AI Engineer

Role overview Take AI systems from an initial prototype into dependable tools used in everyday business workflows. The work includes private-document retrieval, task-completing agents, structured data extraction, and the services and safeguards that make these capabilities reliable in production.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver AI features end to end, including retrieval, agents, structured extraction, and supporting APIs. - Build evaluations, monitoring, and safeguards to check system quality and reliability in daily use. - Choose simpler automation when a machine learning approach is not warranted. - Document, monitor, and hand over systems so client teams can operate them independently.

Requirements - Have taken an LLM or machine learning system into production and be able to demonstrate the work. - Strong general software engineering skills, including building the services around a model rather than only calling an API. - Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript, and ability to work in unfamiliar codebases. - Sound judgment about technical trade-offs and clear, maintainable code.
