Technical Architect

Role overview A six-month remote UK contract is open for a Technical Architect who can ensure all architecture viewpoints, including business, infrastructure and cloud, security, data, and operations, are properly captured in solution designs. The role focuses on translating enterprise strategy into sequenced, deliverable designs and steering solution architects across a multi-domain programme.

Responsibilities - Ensure coherent and strategic design is undertaken by solution architects responsible for individual component capabilities within an integrated programme. - Understand the wider IT strategy and enterprise architecture direction. - Work closely with the lead Enterprise Architect to translate architecture and strategy into prioritised, sequenced deliverable solution designs that meet enterprise-wide data and integration requirements. - Govern high and low-level designs through full lifecycle management, from requirements through to service introduction support. - Articulate technical viewpoints clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management and business partners.

Requirements - Proven experience leading design discussions and owning architectural decisions across multiple architects and domains. - Strong governance capability over high and low-level designs with full lifecycle management. - Background spanning enterprise and software architecture across data, application, and technology, including security.
