IT Audit Associate - Digital Risk Services

Role overview Support the delivery of IT audit, technology risk, and assurance work as part of an engagement team. The role offers hands-on experience understanding client technology environments, testing controls, organizing evidence, and documenting conclusions, with guidance from more senior colleagues.

Responsibilities - Assist with engagements covering IT general controls, internal IT audits, SOX 404 support, SOC 1 and SOC 2 work, and other technology risk assessments. - Join client walkthroughs to understand and document technology processes, systems, infrastructure, risks, and controls. - Perform assigned procedures to assess control design, implementation, and operating effectiveness. - Help test access, change management, and IT operations controls, along with automated controls, application controls, key reports, and interfaces. - Review third-party SOC reports and help assess relevant control objectives, user responsibilities, exceptions, and potential effects on the client’s controls. - Organize and evaluate evidence, prepare clear workpapers, note exceptions, and raise unusual issues promptly for review.
