Job details
About this role
Role overview Define and build the interface for AI-assisted music creation within a creative product. You’ll work out how music-making fits into workflows such as composing from scratch, scoring video, and adapting tracks for other languages, then deliver experiences that can incorporate new models as they become available. The role spans product definition, frontend engineering, and coordination through launch.
Responsibilities - Design and implement creator-facing music workflows from initial concept through release. - Translate emerging music models into practical interfaces in collaboration with research teams. - Break down ambiguous product questions and decide how music creation should fit alongside other creative tasks. - Build frontend experiences and contribute backend work where needed. - Coordinate with design, legal, safety, growth, and engineering partners, keeping stakeholders informed. - Make pragmatic technical choices that allow new models to be integrated as they arrive.
Requirements - Experience shipping complex production interfaces, using React and TypeScript or comparable tools, with the ability to work on backend tasks when needed. - Ownership of ambiguous, new product work from problem definition through launch. - Experience collaborating closely with designers and strong opinions about user experience. - Ability to work across functions and communicate progress without waiting to be prompted. - Sound judgment when weighing trade-offs where there is no single obvious answer.
Nice to have - Music, audio, or creative-tool experience, or a personal practice such as singing, playing an instrument, or producing music. - Experience with media-heavy interfaces such as audio or video tools and timeline editors. - Experience working with machine-learning models or research teams.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first in Europe or on the US East Coast, with availability during Central European time zones required. - Office options are available in Dublin, London, New York, and Warsaw. - Annual discretionary stipends support professional development and colleague meetups; a monthly coworking stipend is available for people outside main hubs. - The team holds an annual company gathering.
