Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotic software solutions using modern tech stacks and algorithms, leaning on open-source libraries - Contribute to product development, R&D, and internal technology groups tackling challenging robotics problems - Share technical knowledge with peers through mentorship and participation in internal training programs - Maintain and contribute to open-source projects with well-documented, scalable code - Collaborate with geographically distributed teammates in English, including presenting and discussing technical topics - Contribute to an engineering culture that values empathy, learning, and craftsmanship
Requirements
- Based in the European Union - At least two years of hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 - At least two years of professional coding in modern C++ (17 and beyond) and Python 3 - Working knowledge of Docker for containerized development - Degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field - Familiarity with Visual SLAM (VSLAM) and AI-driven computer vision - Ability to handle mid-sized software tasks independently and engage in technical design conversations
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse - Prior contributions to open-source projects - Active participation in robotics or tech interest groups, including public speaking - Conversational Spanish
