Sr. Solution Architect

Role overview A senior architect role focused on leading the design and delivery of enterprise monitoring solutions across large, complex customer environments. The position blends hands-on coding, infrastructure and automation expertise, and trusted-advisor consulting, with most work performed remotely from a home office and light travel required.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end design and implementation of monitoring solutions using a defined, repeatable services engagement model. - Partner with skilled customer engineering teams to isolate and resolve major performance issues in large-scale environments. - Work with internal product engineering to surface functional gaps and improvement opportunities back from the field. - Contribute hands-on code in languages such as C#, Java, SQL, Node.js, and JavaScript, and build automation with tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform. - Act as a trusted advisor on cloud, infrastructure, and network topics for enterprise accounts. - Define and uphold technical standards for deployments, integrations, and solution quality.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree, or five or more years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree. - 7+ years of experience in software or solution engineering. - 7+ years of consulting and leadership experience in large enterprise or corporate environments. - Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with proven depth in at least one. - Working knowledge of network topologies, routing, network security, load balancers, and capacity planning. - Familiarity with container-based solutions such as Kubernetes; service mesh experience is a plus.

Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $170K–$215K depending on experience and location. - Health, dental, life, short- and long-term disability, 401(k), and PTO. - Primarily remote with moderate to minimal travel.
