CAD Consultant Siemens Designcenter NX (m/w/d)

Role overview A consultant role focused on the Siemens Designcenter NX CAD environment, supporting customers with software and system architecture topics around the tool. The position combines hands-on CAD expertise with consulting, helping teams adopt, configure, and get the most out of the platform from a home-office base in either Beckum or Neu-Ulm.

Responsibilities - Advise customers on the use, configuration, and best practices of the Designcenter NX CAD environment. - Translate customer engineering processes into effective CAD workflows, templates, and standards. - Support integration topics that sit at the boundary between CAD and surrounding IT or system architecture. - Provide second-level consulting, training, and troubleshooting for ongoing customer projects. - Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases so recurring issues are resolved faster.

Requirements - Around 2-5 years of professional experience working with the Siemens NX CAD platform in an engineering or consulting context. - Solid understanding of CAD-driven product development processes, ideally in mechanical design or related disciplines. - Familiarity with software and system architecture concepts relevant to CAD environments. - Comfortable working in a permanent, full-time home-office arrangement based in Beckum or Neu-Ulm, with willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. - Strong communication skills in German; English is a plus.
