Senior Technical Account Manager

Role overview A remote-first senior role focused on serving as a trusted technical advisor to critical infrastructure and industrial organisations across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider APAC region. The position centres on Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control System (ICS) cybersecurity, helping customers operationalise platform investments, mature their security programmes, and build cyber resilience against threats targeting essential services. It blends deep technical credibility with consulting and relationship management skills, with a substantial portion of time spent engaging both technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for assigned customer accounts, guiding them through onboarding and adoption. - Lead goal-setting workshops and planning sessions to align platform capabilities with customer objectives and measurable success criteria. - Guide the operationalisation of key use cases, integrating solutions into existing security and operational workflows across customer environments. - Provide ongoing technical guidance, enablement sessions, and training to improve platform utilisation and overall cybersecurity maturity. - Monitor account health, adoption trends, and utilisation, proactively identifying risks and supporting engagement or recovery plans for at-risk accounts. - Conduct account reviews and value-realisation discussions, and channel customer feedback into product, support, and experience improvements. - Travel throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC region as required, up to 30% of the time.

Requirements - At least three years of experience working in OT, ICS, or critical infrastructure environments, with working knowledge of ICS, SCADA, or DCS systems. - Background in security operations, threat detection, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or a closely related cybersecurity discipline. - Solid grasp of industrial cybersecurity principles, OT/ICS environments, cyber risk management, and security operations workflows. - Hands-on experience applying frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, SANS ICS Five Critical Controls, AESCSF, or comparable APAC frameworks. - Demonstrated ability to engage and influence both technical practitioners and senior business stakeholders through workshops, training, and advisory work. - Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills, paired with a customer-first mindset focused on value realisation.
