Lead Business Systems Engineer

Role overview Join the Revenue Operations team of a remote-first cybersecurity company focused on protecting critical infrastructure worldwide. As Lead Business Systems Engineer, you will own the lead-to-order technology stack — Salesforce and connected GTM platforms — designing, shipping, and hardening the systems that carry deals from first touch to booked order.

Responsibilities - Serve as the deepest expert on the lead-to-order architecture, including data models, integration patterns, automation, and security model - Design and build complex applications on Salesforce and connected platforms using declarative automation, Apex, and Lightning components - Remediate critical technical debt: untangle brittle automation, consolidate redundant objects and fields, and replace workarounds with maintainable designs - Act as technical lead on cross-functional systems projects including platform migrations and new tool rollouts - Build and maintain integrations and APIs that move data between marketing, sales, contracting, and finance systems - Build AI capabilities inside GTM workflows — agents, CRM-connected assistants, and automation — with validation discipline - Mentor the Business Systems team on troubleshooting, code review, documentation, and change management

Requirements - 8+ years building business systems or GTM platforms with deep hands-on work in a lead-to-order or quote-to-cash stack - Deep Salesforce build expertise; Sales Cloud required, with Apex, Lightning, CPQ, or Platform Developer certifications a plus - Hands-on development as primary skill across declarative automation, Apex or equivalent, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware - Working fluency across marketing automation, sales engagement, CLM/e-signature, and ERP integration patterns - Track record of shipping complex solutions and remediating serious technical debt in a live production org - Security-minded build habits including role-based access, field-level security, and data segmentation for regulated environments

Nice to have - Federal or public-sector exposure, or cybersecurity or OT/industrial industry experience - Genuine curiosity and hands-on experience building with AI tools in a GTM context
