Product Engineer

Role overview

A generalist engineering position at an early-stage company building a platform that helps enterprises manage agentic systems. The role blends product thinking with hands-on engineering and offers wide exposure across backend services, infrastructure, data pipelines, and tooling. An AI-native development workflow is treated as the default way of working, and strong fundamentals plus learning velocity matter more than years of experience.

Responsibilities

- Contribute across backend services, infrastructure, and tooling as priorities shift, including control plane services, infrastructure integration, data pipelines, and tooling - Own features end-to-end, shipping production code and iterating based on how it performs in real conditions - Build distributed systems intuition through hands-on work on state reconciliation, failure handling, and API design - Collaborate closely with senior engineers and founders, contributing to architectural discussions - Help shape the technical foundations and engineering culture of a company in its earliest stages

Requirements

- Strong computer science or software engineering fundamentals from a degree, bootcamp, or self-directed learning - Ability to write clean code in at least one language, with willingness to learn Go if not already known - Working understanding of how computers and networks actually work, including processes, memory, TCP, HTTP, and DNS - Evidence of shipping software through side projects, open source contributions, or internships - Adoption of an AI-native development workflow that meaningfully accelerates delivery - Clear communication, curiosity, and effective collaboration with teammates

- Track record of out-building people with more years of experience on raw capability and speed
