Responsibilities
- Design and ship backend services, infrastructure integrations, and APIs that perform reliably at scale - Own features from conception through deployment, engaging directly with customers to validate what they need and iterate until the product delivers - Contribute to a platform that prioritizes correctness, observability, and operational delight - Help establish the technical foundations and engineering culture of a company in its earliest stages - Move fluidly between application-layer services and infrastructure-layer concerns as priorities shift
Requirements
- Production experience building and shipping distributed systems or infrastructure software - Fluency in Go and the ability to design services that are reliable and maintainable - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, whether building controllers, operating clusters, or deploying into complex environments - Solid grasp of API design and data modeling for systems that must evolve gracefully - Internalized AI-native development workflow with demonstrable productivity gains - Strong opinions on how software should be built, defended while remaining open to being wrong - Clear communication with customers, founders, and fellow engineers
