Remote job
Full Stack Engineer - Cloud & SaaS Integrations
Job details
About this role
Role overview A remote full stack engineering role focused on building and scaling an integrations platform that connects third-party billing and usage APIs into a unified cloud intelligence product. The position sits within an R&D team and centers on owning an Integrations Framework end-to-end, so that adding the next vendor is a small, well-understood task rather than a project. The work is highly AI-augmented, applying agentic tooling across exploration, prototyping, coding, testing, and documentation.
Responsibilities - Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs, handling authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error states, and schema drift. - Invest in the shared Integrations Framework, including testing harnesses and scaffolding, so coverage scales efficiently as the vendor landscape grows. - Build the customer-facing integration management
experience: health and status visibility, actionable error states, credential rotation, and clear feedback when attention is needed. - Design self-service capabilities by default, including backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics that customers and internal teams can run themselves. - Deliver features through APIs as well as UI, enabling both humans and agents to drive the platform. - Propose, spec, implement, and maintain features end-to-end, raising ideas rather than waiting for hand-offs.
Requirements - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and owning features in production. - Strong TypeScript with modern frontend experience; React preferred. - Hands-on Go experience, or strong backend experience in Python, Java, Node.js, or C#, with willingness to ramp up quickly in Go. - Practical experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes. - Comfort across the full stack, from database through user interface, with working SQL proficiency. - Experience developing solutions in the cloud or using cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), plus an AI-augmented workflow with concrete examples of impact. - Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns and architectural principles, plus clear written and verbal English communication.
Nice to have - Background building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks as a core product surface. - Familiarity with cloud or SaaS billing data, cost and usage exports, AI vendor billing, or the FOCUS specification. - Experience with BigQuery, data pipelines, or orchestration tooling such as Dagster or Airflow. - Building AI-powered product features involving LLM integration or intelligent automation. - Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products.
