Role overview
Help develop and refine a native iOS application used for high-volume, agreement-related workflows. The role focuses on user-facing features, stability, defect resolution, and performance improvements while balancing enterprise needs with the polished experience expected of a leading consumer mobile app. As an individual contributor, you will work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative Agile environment and grow your technical scope through delivery and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement native iOS experiences and product features using Swift. - Produce clean, maintainable code and unit tests that support application stability and performance. - Partner with product managers, designers, QA specialists, and backend engineers to turn requirements into complete mobile functionality. - Investigate and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance bottlenecks identified by users or automated tooling. - Participate in sprint planning, standups, code reviews, and other team practices that support iterative delivery. - Track Apple platform updates and evaluate relevant SDK features, tools, and development practices for future improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - At least two years of professional software engineering experience, including at least one year developing native iOS applications in Swift. - Understanding of the iOS application lifecycle, data persistence, network communication with REST APIs, and Git-based version control. - Experience working in an Agile or Scrum team environment.
Nice to have
- A personal or professional application published through the Apple App Store. - Familiarity with SwiftUI in addition to UIKit and with architectural patterns such as MVVM. - Exposure to automated testing with XCTest. - Strong interest in high-quality interaction design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
