Senior AI & Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

Role overview Build and operate automation systems that help a fast-growing online retail business make its operational processes more reliable and scalable. Responsibilities - Own the setup, operation, and continued improvement of complex workflows, primarily using n8n. - Design and run AI agents, including their prompts, tool selection, and safeguards. - Develop and maintain API integrations across business, commerce, messaging, logistics, and payment systems. - Review operational processes and turn suitable opportunities into maintainable technical solutions. - Create internal dashboards, monitor automations, investigate failures, and improve reliability. - Prepare and analyze data with SQL and BigQuery to find opportunities for efficiency and automation, working with teams such as support, finance, operations, and marketing.

Requirements - Professional experience building and operating process automations, including workflows that use AI agents. - Ability to understand business operations and translate manual or error-prone processes into scalable systems. - Practical, improvement-oriented approach, strong learning ability, and interest in AI and automation. - Comfort collaborating with business teams and working in person at an office.

Nice to have - Experience with BigQuery or another data warehouse, Python, or cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. - Familiarity with e-commerce and operational processes. - Experience leading or building an automation team or function.
