Role overview A rapidly scaling commerce technology company is hiring a Product Manager to drive the evolution of its payment orchestration platform. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, commercial, and implementation teams, focusing on the design, launch, and continuous improvement of payment features used by large enterprises such as retailers, marketplaces, airlines, and quick-service restaurants. It is a hands-on, high-velocity position suited to someone who enjoys turning complex payment flows into clear, measurable product outcomes.
Responsibilities - Partner with engineering, commercial, product marketing, and implementation management to plan, build, and launch payment capabilities across new and existing markets. - Contribute to the product roadmap by weighing business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility when prioritizing features. - Translate business and customer requirements into detailed specifications and PRDs that engineering teams can execute against. - Define, monitor, and interpret key payment metrics, using data to surface opportunities and guide prioritization. - Communicate product value, roadmap updates, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements - At least three years of experience in product management or a closely related discipline. - Working knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including authorization, capture, refunds, and card features such as network tokens and 3D-Secure. - Comfort defining, tracking, and analyzing product and payment performance metrics to inform decisions. - Hands-on experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Notion, including writing technical specs. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences. - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
