Role overview The Brand Design Lead will own the evolution of a creative software brand across campaigns, web experiences, and live events. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Content, this role blends big-picture concepting with hands-on craft, scaling systems that let partners ship on-brand work independently. The position calls for a designer willing to push identity in daring, distinctive directions.
Responsibilities - Drive end-to-end concept and design for launches and campaigns, from brief through delivery - Evolve and extend the brand so it lands credibly across web, social, paid channels, and event moments - Build a scalable brand system with toolkits and guidelines that product, marketing, and sales teams can use without hand-holding - Apply AI tools and workflows to multiply creative output while protecting craft quality - Direct internal designers and external creative partners, including illustrators and design engineers - Mentor designers and champion craft standards across the company
Requirements - 6+ years of brand design experience in-house or at an agency - Portfolio demonstrating both strategic thinking and executional craft across web, social, and paid channels - Strong command of typography, color, and composition - Track record of building a brand system that scaled beyond personal output - Experience directing outside creative partners - Working fluency with AI production tools, paired with a clear point of view on where they should not be used
Nice to have - Brand work inside a SaaS or creative software company - Motion, front-end development, or illustration skills - Experience creating generative brand tooling - Comfort appearing on camera and sharing work publicly
