Role overview This position manages the engineering team behind an enterprise access governance product that helps security and audit teams prove control over who can do what across business applications. The scope covers both the core platform and a team of integration specialists building connectors to ERP and business systems. The organization operates as an AI-first engineering culture where managers actively use AI tools and set standards for how their teams do the same.
Responsibilities - Lead a sprint team of software engineers, balancing delivery commitments with people development. - Manage a group of integration specialists building and maintaining connectors to customer ERP and business applications. - Own the technical roadmap, delivery quality, and operational health of the governance services running on Kubernetes in Azure. - Drive the effort to bring governance capabilities into the broader unified platform natively. - Partner with product management, UX, and architecture in a Scrum model to shape requirements and architectural direction. - Drive adoption of AI coding assistants, design tools, and test automation, modeling what good AI-assisted engineering looks like. - Foster a team culture where engineers can do strong work and progress in their careers.
Requirements - Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years managing Agile engineering teams with a track record of delivery and team growth. - 5+ years of hands-on software development with deep fluency in .NET and C# or comparable backend stacks. - Experience making architecture decisions for distributed systems. - Background building and operating cloud-native services on Azure, including Kubernetes deployments. - Experience scaling engineering teams in a fast-growing SaaS or enterprise software environment.
Nice to have - Setting AI-first engineering practices at the team or organizational level, including tooling standards and outcome measurement. - Depth in .NET and cloud-native development on Kubernetes and Azure. - Engagement with industry trends, security best practices, and emerging platform technologies.
