Role overview Lead a team of analysts whose work directly shapes internal coding operations and produces client-facing analytics for a retrospective risk adjustment product. The position blends hands-on analysis with people leadership, operating in a remote, multi-time-zone setting with seasonal workload peaks tied to program cycles and client deliverable windows.
Responsibilities - Set and run the day-to-day work of direct reports in partnership with the director and other managers, ensuring quality and timely delivery. - Coach and develop analysts at varying levels of experience, providing both subject matter guidance and accountability for accuracy. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders on customer success and operations teams to keep analytics aligned with emerging problems and opportunities. - Stay current on risk adjustment and broader healthcare industry trends, translating that knowledge into team training and business value. - Produce content for both internal audiences, including partnering teams and executives, and external customer-facing deliverables in collaboration with Customer Success. - Design analytics processes and solutions that maximize efficiency while maintaining high integrity and quality of the work product. - Evaluate how to best use available technology and data assets to support the team's work.
Requirements - Critical thinking skills and a curiosity to identify and solve complex business problems spanning a wide range of core operational topics. - 2+ years of proven success leading and managing a remote team, with the ability to hold direct reports accountable for responsiveness, quality, and deadlines. - 3+ years of experience working with Medicare, ACA, and/or Medicaid risk adjustment programs. - Demonstrated ability to operate proactively in a fast-paced environment and to surface risks and blockers early through consistent upward, downward, and lateral communication.
