Role overview This Program Manager role leads delivery of mission-critical operational technology, industrial data, cybersecurity, energy, and infrastructure modernization projects for a portfolio spanning federal, defense, higher education, energy, and commercial customers. The position blends program leadership, people management, customer engagement, business growth, and technical collaboration, with a particular emphasis on programs that include the AVEVA PI System. It is suited to a customer-focused leader who enjoys helping clients solve complex operational challenges through innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities - Lead execution of multiple projects and task orders supporting critical infrastructure, operational technology, and data modernization initiatives. - Manage program scope, schedule, budget, risks, quality, and customer satisfaction. - Serve as the primary interface between customers, technical teams, and corporate leadership. - Develop trusted relationships with commercial and university customers. - Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and subject matter experts. - Drive operational excellence through planning, metrics, resource management, and quality assurance. - Identify opportunities to expand customer value and support proposal and business development activities. - Help shape future offerings in operational technology, industrial data systems, cybersecurity, AI-enabled analytics, and digital resilience, and mentor team members.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Energy Systems, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience managing technical programs and projects that include the PI System. - Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, and customer relationships. - Experience leading cross-functional technical teams. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Experience supporting critical infrastructure, utilities, energy, or industrial customers. - Ability to translate technical concepts into business and mission outcomes. - Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
Nice to have - PMP certification. - Master's degree in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience with operational technology, industrial control systems, SCADA, or industrial data platforms. - Knowledge of cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cloud platforms, data analytics, AI, or digital twins. - Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or an approved equivalent AI solution.
Benefits and work setup - Posted salary range of $130,000–$175,000 USD, with final compensation based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. - Some positions may require the ability to obtain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship may be required for clearance eligibility.
