Role overview A senior solutions architecture role focused on strategic media customers, owning the end-to-end technical relationship from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth. The position combines deep architecture work with strategic advisory responsibilities for senior technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities - Own technical strategy across named accounts, from initial discovery through production deployment and ongoing adoption - Lead architecture discussions for scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors - Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios by demonstrating differentiated, custom-built solutions - Develop and declare a technical specialization such as streaming, ML/AI, data governance, or migrations - Orchestrate cross-functional resources and influence product direction through structured customer feedback
Requirements - 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role - Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to demonstrate live coding and solution-building - Deep expertise in distributed data systems, including scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, and lakehouse patterns - Production deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure, security, and governance - Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders, including whiteboarding and trade-off analysis - Willingness to travel to customers approximately 30% of the time - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
Nice to have - Industry certifications such as Data Engineer, ML, or Platform - Familiarity with competing platforms in the data and analytics landscape - Industry domain expertise in media or adjacent sectors
Benefits and work setup Listed base pay range is $180,000-$247,500 USD across geographic zones; total compensation may include performance bonus and equity.
