Role overview A senior Solutions Architect position partnering with digital-native Healthtech organizations to shape their data and AI technical strategy from initial discovery through production scaling. The role blends hands-on architecture work with strategic advisory responsibilities, helping customer engineering leaders design scalable platforms for data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics workloads. The architect will also cultivate an emerging technical specialization within the team while influencing product direction through structured customer feedback.
Responsibilities - Own end-to-end technical strategy across assigned accounts, spanning discovery, deployment, and ongoing consumption growth - Lead complex architecture sessions covering data engineering pipelines, streaming systems, ML/AI, and lakehouse design patterns - Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and senior directors - Drive competitive wins by demonstrating platform differentiation through custom-built proofs of concept - Coordinate cross-functional specialists and partner resources to deliver comprehensive customer solutions - Channel customer requirements and competitive gaps back to product teams to inform roadmap decisions
Requirements - 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role - Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, demonstrated through live coding, debugging, and solution building - Deep expertise designing distributed data systems, scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, and cloud-native data platforms - Hands-on experience with production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure, security, and governance - Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders through whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis - Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within enterprise accounts
Nice to have - Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12, ICD-10, and CPT, plus healthcare compliance frameworks - Experience engaging pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or medical device organizations - Relevant platform or data engineering certifications - Background working with or against competing data platforms in the broader ecosystem
Benefits and work setup - Local base salary range: $180,000–$247,500 USD - Eligibility for annual performance bonus and equity participation - Comprehensive benefits package, with specifics varying by location
