Role overview This leadership role builds and manages a team of Delivery Solutions Architects who drive post-sales technical strategy for public sector customers on a Data + AI platform. The manager partners closely with sales, pre-sales, and professional services teams to accelerate use cases into production, while coaching the team on architecture and execution best practices.
Responsibilities - Hire, coach, and grow a diverse team of Delivery Solutions Architects, supporting career growth and certification targets - Shape and monitor post-sales execution strategy for the assigned region, allocating accounts and balancing workload across team members - Serve as a technical sponsor and thought leader for a select set of customers, including engagements up to the C-level - Partner with sales, pre-sales, and professional services teams, plus external partners, to accelerate customer growth and resolve escalations - Lead team activities that monitor customer progress and forecast usage growth - Contribute to the broader Delivery Solution Architecture practice by creating reusable assets and improving consistency in customer engagement
Requirements - U.S. citizenship, required due to federal contract and client site access obligations in the Public Sector - Seven or more years of success in a customer-facing role - Proven delivery experience in SaaS technologies such as data analytics, data warehousing, data engineering, ETL, machine learning, AI, or data science - Experience building and leading post-sales technical teams, including hiring, onboarding, and enablement - Track record as a trusted advisor guiding technical executives on strategic data project delivery - Willingness to travel up to 30% within the D.C. Metro area
Nice to have - Experience delivering workloads or data products into production as a delivery architect, project manager, DevOps lead, or service or product owner - Familiarity with the business problems customers face today and likely big data use cases across multiple industries
Benefits and work setup - Expected salary range of $197,100 to $270,975 USD, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, certifications, and location - Eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the company's broader benefits package, with region-specific details available on request
