Lead Solutions Architect

Role overview A senior, customer-facing technical leadership role for a Data and AI platform, owning the most complex enterprise relationships across the DACH region. The position blends strategic account leadership with hands-on prototype building, public speaking, and mentorship of other Solutions Architects. It is a remote role based in Germany with daily use of both German and English.

Responsibilities - Lead and manage complex enterprise accounts with custom requirements from the first technical conversation through to production. - Deliver compelling demos and pitches to budget holders and C-level stakeholders. - Turn customer conversations into working prototypes quickly, using AI-assisted development to compress build cycles from weeks to hours. - Mentor and develop Solutions Architects and Senior SAs in partnership with Field Engineering leadership. - Build regional technical presence through customer-facing collateral, workshops, meetups, and conference talks. - Develop and roll out best practices and repeatable processes across the region. - Establish close working relationships with internal SMEs, product teams, and leadership.

Requirements - Fluent German and business-level English, both used daily with customers and internally. - Substantial experience in technical pre-sales, including complex customer interactions across the full sales lifecycle. - Ability to drive technical and business conversations with C-level executives and orchestrate cross-functional teams. - Strong track record in the data landscape, with deep expertise in at least one of data engineering or data science. - Hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL. - Daily, fluent use of AI coding assistants and agents in your own work. - Hands-on experience running complex proofs of concept on at least one major public cloud. - Judgment to prioritise the right use cases and navigate a competitive landscape.
