Join a global manufacturing operations team in Mexico as a strategic operations leader focused on building the systems that keep production running smoothly. The role centers on designing scalable infrastructure for labor allocation, equipment visibility, and order scheduling, ensuring every job ships on time. It is a high-impact, cross-functional position partnering with Data, Product, and Manufacturing leaders to translate operational realities into system architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and roll out systems that fully allocate labor, track equipment effectiveness, and schedule all orders and labor through automated logic. - Drive on-time delivery by implementing tools and strategies that ensure every order is resourced and shipped to schedule. - Partner with Product and Data to define system requirements, align on architecture decisions, and ship enhancements. - Build real-time dashboards that connect labor, equipment utilization, and scheduling performance to business outcomes. - Diagnose operational bottlenecks, design solutions, and lead pilots and rollouts to close performance gaps. - Act as the connective tissue between Strategy Operations, Product, Data, and Manufacturing to keep architecture aligned with current and future needs.
Requirements
- Six or more years in operations, manufacturing, or systems-focused roles, with consulting, strategy, or product operations experience a plus. - Strong program and project management skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional system rollouts. - Experience designing and implementing scalable systems such as ERP, MES, scheduling, or resource allocation tools. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a closely related field. - Strong communicator who can translate operational needs into system requirements and influence cross-functional partners. - Self-starter with high ownership, detail orientation, and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous environments.
Nice to have
- Comfort using SQL, Looker, or similar tools to build visibility and inform decisions. - Background in management consulting, investment banking, or marketplace business models, ideally with startup experience. - Willingness to travel to the United States on a monthly basis. - Outstanding professional references and strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting quantitative concepts.
