Role overview A Senior Implementation Manager is needed to lead complex client onboarding for an on-demand pay platform serving both small/medium business and enterprise customers. The role owns the full implementation lifecycle, from pre-sales support through post-launch handoff, blending project management with hands-on technical integration work. Success requires balancing detail-oriented execution with strategic thinking while engaging C-suite stakeholders on high-stakes accounts.
Responsibilities - Lead new clients through complex implementations and ensure a smooth post-launch handoff, including project management and technical integration with third-party vendors. - Manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, holding internal and external parties accountable for timely, accurate delivery. - Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions and produce robust documentation of implementation requirements. - Support re-implementations, mitigating operational risk and minimizing downtime. - Act as the client's internal advocate by collaborating with Sales, Product, Client Success, and Implementation Controls teams. - Perform technical research to design solutions for unique customer integration challenges, mentor peers, and surface product feedback for future enhancements.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. - 3-5+ years of experience implementing SaaS solutions or serving as a technical Client Success Manager. - Background managing demanding, high-stakes accounts and engaging C-level stakeholders. - Strong project and client management skills with excellent written communication and presentation abilities. - Hands-on experience leading data validation, unit testing, and UAT, plus working with sFTP automation and API builds (reviewing logs, troubleshooting). - Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite, with the ability to drive solutions on unfamiliar systems and workflows.
Nice to have - Experience with HCM, payroll, and time management systems. - Familiarity with Dell Boomi or similar integration platforms. - Background in early-stage products, markets, or companies.
