Build the reliability and scale foundations for AI agents used by go-to-market teams. You’ll take working prototypes through production hardening, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance, partnering with agent builders so their systems can serve users consistently.
Responsibilities - Turn early agent versions into production-ready systems by creating evaluations, improving prompts and tool definitions, and replacing prototype scaffolding with maintainable code. - Add tracing, logs, and monitoring to detect regressions and diagnose production issues. - Build and maintain deployment pipelines, keeping environments consistent and releases dependable on Google Cloud. - Manage how agents access and update databases, with attention to safe operation at scale. - Monitor agent behavior, triage problems, and deliver ongoing improvements. - Work closely with the AI team to provide the infrastructure and operational support that lets builders focus on new agent capabilities.
Requirements - Four or more years in software engineering, platform or infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role; B2B SaaS experience is preferred. - Daily comfort with terminal-based work and a GitHub pull request and deployment workflow. - Experience hosting software in the cloud, using Kubernetes, virtual machines, or equivalent; Google Cloud experience is strongly preferred. - Experience with agent database access and modification, including hands-on database administration. - Familiarity with LLM application development, including prompt design, tool calling, evaluations, and agent frameworks. - Ability to direct AI tools, critically review their output, and use them to check their own work. - Can move quickly while applying consistent practices as systems grow.
Benefits and work setup - Starting salary of $140,000–$170,000 USD, or local equivalent, depending on experience and market adjustments; stock options are included. - Medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums are covered for employees and their families. - Benefits include 16 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited paid time off, remote-work and wellness stipends, and a professional development budget.
