Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

Role overview A customer-facing engineering role focused on turning ambitious, often loosely defined use cases into working prototypes that prove value before reaching production. The position sits at the intersection of customer engagement, solution architecture, and rapid technical experimentation, helping push the boundaries of an enterprise platform through hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities - Clarify ambiguous customer needs and refine them into well-defined use cases and solution designs. - Build working prototypes and technical proofs of concept aligned with approved architectures. - Translate business and architectural requirements into functional, testable implementations. - Validate feasibility, performance, and scalability through iterative experimentation. - Partner with engagement managers and solution architects to keep prototypes aligned with broader technical direction. - Capture reusable patterns and share implementation insights across internal teams.

Requirements - 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, system integration, or a closely related field. - Strong prototyping ability spanning APIs, data pipelines, and front-end or back-end systems. - Demonstrated success operating in ambiguous, high-impact environments that require fast iteration. - Solid problem-solving skills grounded in an experimentation-driven mindset.
