About this role

Role overview Join an Insider Risk team protecting the proprietary infrastructure and intellectual property behind large-scale AI compute. This senior engineering role leads the evolution of eDiscovery capabilities, blending forensic rigor, technical detection, and corporate governance to safeguard sensitive data and support legal and investigative work.

Responsibilities - Own end-to-end eDiscovery operations for the enterprise, ensuring collections, processing, and review meet legal and regulatory standards. - Lead forensic analysis for insider-risk investigations and coordinate digital forensics in support of legal matters. - Design and build AI-driven automation that improves how data is aggregated, preserved, and surfaced across cloud, endpoints, and identity systems. - Define governance policies for the eDiscovery program, investigations, and data classification frameworks. - Apply analytics, AI, and multi-language tooling across eDiscovery, forensics, due diligence, privacy, and managed-review projects. - Execute data collections, preserve evidence, and produce structured reports under strict digital chain-of-custody protocols.

Requirements - 7+ years in Security Operations and 4+ years in eDiscovery, including Legal Hold administration. - Strong knowledge of EDRM principles and enterprise eDiscovery platforms, digital forensics tools, and SIEM infrastructure. - Deep experience querying cloud audit logs and reconstructing user activity at scale. - Proficiency with unstructured data extraction, normalization, and indexing in cloud-native environments. - Working knowledge of at least one query language (e.g., SQL, ES/QL) and scripting ability in Python or Go. - Familiarity with global privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, plus data classification and labeling frameworks.

Nice to have - Operating in high-sensitivity environments requiring careful judgment around privacy, ethics, and employee trust. - Willingness to work outside standard business hours when active investigations require it.

Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $165,000 to $220,000, plus discretionary bonus and equity awards. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; HSA and FSA options. - Company-paid life insurance plus voluntary supplemental, short- and long-term disability. - 401(k) with employer match and eligibility for an Employee Stock Purchase Program. - Tuition reimbursement, mental wellness benefits, family-forming support, and paid parental leave. - Flexible paid time off and a casual, innovation-oriented culture.
