About this role
Role overview This role builds and scales a customer-facing trust function within the Global Security organization of a public cybersecurity and data resilience company. The Manager will lead the Customer Trust program, owning governance for a Trust Center and acting as the bridge between Security, Compliance, Product, Legal, and Sales on enterprise assurance. It is a senior, cross-functional position focused on turning security, compliance, privacy, and risk information into clear answers and reusable assets for enterprise and regulated buyers.
Responsibilities - Lead the Customer Trust program end to end, including operations, content strategy, and team development. - Manage incoming customer security, compliance, privacy, and risk inquiries across enterprise and regulated accounts. - Own governance and strategy for the public-facing Trust Center and underlying knowledge base. - Develop scalable response content, knowledge libraries, and reusable assurance assets that improve response speed and quality. - Partner with Sales and Customer Success to support strategic deals, RFPs, audits, and renewals. - Establish metrics and reporting for customer trust activities, and surface recurring customer concerns as inputs to security and compliance roadmaps. - Build and develop a high-performing customer trust team, prioritizing and coordinating support for high-impact engagements. - Act as an escalation point for the most complex customer assurance matters.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. - 7+ years in customer trust, security assurance, compliance, GRC, sales engineering, or a closely related function. - Strong working knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and risk management frameworks. - Hands-on experience supporting enterprise and regulated customers through assurance cycles. - Familiarity with FedRAMP, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, privacy, and broader cybersecurity frameworks. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have - Experience designing or running a public Trust Center or trust portal program. - Prior experience scaling a customer-facing assurance function from early stage to mature operating model.
