Role overview A senior-level opportunity focused on owning the build, release, and operational stability of enterprise Windows and Microsoft Azure environments. The role sits between software development teams and infrastructure operations, with the mission of removing deployment bottlenecks and keeping critical web applications highly available. It combines hands-on system administration, CI/CD pipeline ownership, and cloud operations in a fully remote setting based in Latin America.
Responsibilities - Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and IIS-hosted web applications to maximize uptime and performance - Design, maintain, and continuously improve automated CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity (or comparable CI engines) and Octopus Deploy - Author and maintain PowerShell scripts that automate system administration, configuration, and repetitive deployment tasks - Support development teams with artifact and package management workflows across NuGet, npm, and pnpm - Operate and maintain cloud-hosted components in Microsoft Azure, including Service Bus messaging and Azure Functions serverless workloads - Serve as an escalation point for build failures, environment outages, IIS deployment issues, and cross-team operational blockers
Requirements - Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, and deployment automation - Strong background in enterprise Windows Server system administration and day-to-day operations - Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IIS and the Web APIs it hosts - Demonstrated experience managing build pipelines in TeamCity or equivalent platforms such as Jenkins or Bamboo - Hands-on experience with automated deployment platforms, ideally Octopus Deploy - 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Release Engineering roles - Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken, C1+ equivalent) for daily collaboration - Strong ownership mindset, sharp troubleshooting instincts, and a collaborative approach across teams
Nice to have - Experience building and optimizing Azure DevOps pipelines - Familiarity with Azure cloud deployments, Azure Functions serverless architecture, and Azure Service Bus messaging - Active Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server credentials
