Group Program Director, Product (US)

Role overview

This senior leadership role directs the Delivery function across a portfolio of clients and/or a major account at a digital-first creative agency. The position blends strategic portfolio leadership with hands-on operational accountability, overseeing team health, scope and budget integrity, and growth across complex product and digital transformation engagements.

Responsibilities

- Own the overall health and performance of assigned delivery portfolios, setting standards for excellence and driving continuous improvement across accounts - Lead estimation, scope development, and budget/contract review for high-value engagements, and serve as the senior escalation point for both internal and client-facing issues - Partner with client engagement, business development, resourcing, recruiting, and finance on staffing, account growth targets, and organic/new business opportunities - Evaluate project health weekly with portfolio leadership peers and account leads, defining resolution paths and mitigating risks in collaboration with discipline leads - Mentor and develop Delivery team members at every level, owning performance reviews, growth planning, and training programs in partnership with delivery leadership - Champion process and tooling improvements, including AI-driven approaches, that enable more efficient and modern ways of working

Requirements

- 15+ years of program or delivery management experience with deep expertise in product and digital transformation - Proven ability to own scope, estimation, and budget integrity for complex, high-value engagements - Track record as a trusted escalation point for clients and senior internal stakeholders, with sound judgment on when to resolve directly versus mobilizing others - Strong financial acumen and comfort partnering on revenue planning, investment decisions, and account health - Demonstrated success managing, mentoring, and developing teams across multiple levels of seniority - Excellent communication and emotional intelligence, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and adapt delivery approach across project management methodologies

Nice to have

- Experience contributing to new business pitches in a senior oversight capacity or as a hands-on contributor - Familiarity with leveraging AI and emerging tools to accelerate delivery and innovation

Benefits and work setup

- Compensation range: $220,000 – $280,000, with consideration across multiple levels based on experience - US-based role within a globally distributed team model spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia
