Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview Help mobile publishers integrate and get value from an advertising platform. You’ll work directly with partner engineering teams, writing and debugging code from initial integration through launch, support, and ongoing optimization. The role also turns recurring integration challenges into reusable tools and improvements to the platform.

Responsibilities - Lead SDK integrations from kickoff through launch, working hands-on with partner engineers. - Build production tools, automation, AI agents, and custom solutions to make integrations more reliable. - Support integration, testing, and optimization by investigating logs, auctions, and live traffic. - Diagnose problems across SDKs, bidding, auctions, and reporting; identify causes and help prevent repeat issues. - Use data and AI tools to spot integration patterns, technical risks, and optimization opportunities. - Convert recurring partner needs into reusable solutions and collaborate with product and engineering teams on platform improvements and documentation.

Requirements - At least five years in software, integration, solutions, or forward-deployed engineering, including substantial hands-on coding and shipping. - Experience leading complex technical integrations; mobile, SDK-based, or programmatic advertising work is especially relevant. - Strong iOS skills with Swift or Objective-C and Android skills with Kotlin or Java for integration and debugging. - Ability to build backend services, scripts, or automation using Python, Go, or a similar language. - Knowledge of ad technology, including mediation, header bidding, real-time bidding, auction mechanics, and ad servers. - Strong debugging skills across client and server systems, and practical experience using AI tools for coding, troubleshooting, documentation, or log analysis. - Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences, and willingness to travel to work with partners as needed.
