Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Senior/Principal Level) - based in Czechia/Poland/Spain

Role overview This customer-embedded role focuses on accelerating artificial intelligence adoption within strategic enterprise clients by piloting generative and agentic AI use cases and turning them into production-ready solutions. The engineer works at the intersection of customer engineering, applied AI, and enterprise deployment, shaping technical strategy while building full-stack applications and codifying repeatable patterns.

Responsibilities - Build and prototype full-stack AI applications and agentic systems that solve real enterprise problems - Partner directly with customer teams to advance AI use cases from early prototype through production readiness - Advise customer leaders on AI roadmaps, use case prioritization, and deployment considerations aligned with business goals - Codify successful patterns into reference architectures, productized solutions, starter kits, and internal playbooks - Mentor internal teams and channel field insights back to product teams to improve the underlying AI platform

Requirements - 7+ years building and deploying production-grade systems, including 2-3 years building generative AI or agentic applications - Strong hands-on software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills with modern AI frameworks - Experience with foundation models, context engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search, RAG, and agentic workflows - Solid grasp of LLMOps and MLOps practices including evaluation, observability, serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management - Experience designing scalable AI architectures that meet enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards - Ability to engage with both technical and executive audiences and operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Nice to have - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - Familiarity with open source big data technologies like Spark, Iceberg, or NiFi - Experience with AI infrastructure such as NVIDIA GPUs, inference optimization, model serving, or distributed AI workloads
