Job details
About this role
Role overview This is a senior, staff-level analytics position embedded with a go-to-market organization, operating fully remotely within the United States. The role serves as the first dedicated Staff GTM Analyst, partnering directly with GTM leadership to investigate ambiguous business questions, model tradeoffs, and translate findings into actionable decisions across acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue. The work blends hands-on data modeling with strategic influence, while also shaping how AI-assisted tooling enables broader self-service analytics across the team.
Responsibilities - Define and own core GTM metrics, modeling the full funnel from first touch through paid conversion and reconciling discrepancies across the warehouse, product analytics, web analytics, and ad platforms. - Diagnose anomalies and divergences in the data, such as rising trial signups without corresponding paid conversion, and surface root-cause explanations grounded in business context. - Forecast performance against goals, model the impact of additional paid media investment or product changes, and equip leadership with the tradeoffs needed for decision-making. - Build semantic layers, documentation, and guardrails that allow cross-functional teammates to answer their own questions reliably using AI-assisted workflows. - Drive cross-functional projects from a vague question through scoping, dependency mapping, stakeholder alignment, and a concrete, data-backed recommendation. - Help evolve the data function from reactive request handling toward agent-driven insight delivery that proactively alerts the right people to meaningful changes.
Requirements - Approximately eight years of hands-on, highly technical analytics experience, with the pattern recognition to tackle ambiguous, high-impact questions end-to-end. - Fluency in modern analytics tooling, including writing production SQL, building models in dbt, and working directly inside a cloud warehouse such as Snowflake. - Deep familiarity with GTM data quirks, including attribution models, channel definitions, UTMs, bot filtering, and broken tracking scenarios. - Demonstrated ability to operate as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, translating model output into clear, actionable recommendations. - Comfort using AI tools to draft SQL, automate analysis, and expand what is possible for a single analyst, while maintaining rigor and trust in the output. - Strong cross-functional communication skills, with a track record of influencing peers and leaders and prioritizing impact over polished deliverables.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States. - Competitive base pay plus an organization-wide goal-based bonus. - Approximately five weeks of paid time off to start, plus a one-week company-wide winter holiday break and paid U.S. holidays, with two additional days earned per year of tenure. - Option to work a compressed four-day week at 80% pay, coordinated with your manager. - Paid parental leave available to both primary and secondary caregivers. - One-month paid sabbatical every five years of service. - Two medical plan options with the employer covering 99% of premiums, plus dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and company-paid long-term disability. - 401(k) plan with up to a 6% employer match, vested immediately.
