UI / UX Designer

Role overview

A mid-to-senior product design role within a venture studio focused on the medical software layer for India. The designer takes full ownership of one venture's design surface — covering user research through to shipped pixels — and contributes to a shared design system that serves the broader portfolio. It is a remote-first, India-based full-time role reporting to the Design Lead.

Responsibilities

- Run end-to-end product design for a venture: research, information architecture, interaction flows, and final pixel review before release. - Contribute to and evolve the shared design system so that multiple ventures stay visually and behaviourally coherent. - Produce prototypes that show actual behaviour, not just static screens, for stakeholder and engineering review. - Pair directly with front-end engineers during implementation to maintain fidelity in production. - Apply typographic and systems-thinking discipline across complex, multi-role interfaces.

Requirements

- Four or more years of product design experience with a portfolio of shipped work. - Strong working knowledge of Figma for design, prototyping, and component-driven work. - Confident typographic sensibility and the ability to design coherent systems rather than one-off screens. - Comfort collaborating inside a live codebase alongside engineering counterparts.

Nice to have

- Motion design experience for interaction polish and micro-animations. - Prior product work in complex domains such as clinical, financial, or industrial software.
