Network Automation Engineer – Python & DevOps

Role overview Build software-driven automation that makes enterprise network operations more reliable and reduces repetitive manual work. You’ll partner with network engineering, development, and QA teams to create services, infrastructure-as-code, tests, and delivery pipelines, while contributing to emerging AI-enabled operational workflows.

Responsibilities - Develop Python-based network automation and REST services using Django and Django REST Framework. - Create infrastructure-as-code, Ansible playbooks, documentation, and automated tests for network changes. - Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, support releases, and maintain continuous integration tooling. - Integrate APIs and work with JSON, CRUD operations, and network device outputs; help troubleshoot infrastructure issues. - Collaborate with QA and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum planning, delivery, and review cycles. - Support network organization AI initiatives and identify opportunities to improve automation.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - At least 4 years of Python development and 3 years of DevOps experience, including network automation. - Experience with Django, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Linux, and configuration management such as Ansible. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and automated testing tools such as pytest, Selenium, SoapUI, or Postman. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems carefully, communicate with technical teams, and continue learning.

Nice to have Experience with cloud platforms, SOAP APIs, AI frameworks and prompt-based solutions, network automation tools, or parsing device output with regular expressions or TextFSM. Angular and TypeScript are preferred; networking knowledge in areas such as routing, switching, protocols, and firewalls is a plus.
